On Nov. 20th, Lions President Jay Bisio, presented Mandy Macdonald with a donation for End 68 Hours of Hunger. "End 68 Hours of Hunger is a public not-for-profit effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive at school on Friday afternoon and the free breakfast they receive at school on Monday morning."
End 68 Hours of HungerIf you would like to donate to help our local communities, there are two ways you can do so. First, you can donate towards our general charity fund. Money donated to our general charity fund will be used for eye and hearing care, local food pantries and other local organizations in need. Secondly, you can donate money that will go directly to a local food pantry. If you have a preference to which food pantry it goes to, please note it in the memo when making the donation.
