On June 4th the Conway Area Lions Club awarded $1,000 scholarships to 2 Kennett High School Seniors from funds raised throughout the year.
On May 6th, Lion Chris Russian was awarded the Granite State Fellow Award for her dedication, long hours and hard work for our club and our community. This past year Lion Chris, along with volunteers in our club, coordinated and provided vision screening for over 400 children at 6 local elementary schools! Thank you, Lion Chris!
If you would like to donate to help our local communities, there are two ways you can do so. First, you can donate towards our general charity fund. Money donated to our general charity fund will be used for eye and hearing care, local food pantries and other local organizations in need. Secondly, you can donate money that will go directly to a local food pantry. If you have a preference to which food pantry it goes to, please note it in the memo when making the donation.
