On Dec. 1st the Conway Area Lions Club donated $500 to the Little Angels Service Dogs in Barlett, NH. Little Angels believe dogs have an innate ability to alter an individual’s take on life – both physically and mentally. Their mission is to grab ahold of that innate ability and teach dogs to use it in a way to empower and provide independence to their disabled recipients, who otherwise would be completely dependent on others. Little Angels Service DogsOn Thursday Nov. 18th, members of our club gathered at the Settler's Green in North Conway to set up the Christmas Tree that we donated to the 6th Annual Festival of Trees sponsored by the Settler's Green. 100% of the proceeds from the event benefited the Carroll County RSVP's Meals on Wheels Delivery Program and Non-Emergency Transportation Program.
